Why are we recruiting?

Our IT environment has grown rapidly — from 85 to 310 active users, alongside the addition of 4 new companies to our infrastructure. This expansion has significantly increased the volume of IT service requests, daily maintenance, and ongoing project work.

To maintain excellent service quality, ensure rapid issue resolution, and keep pace with new technologies and compliance requirements, we are looking for an additional IT Specialist (Junior) to join our friendly team in České Budějovice.

At PHOTOMATE we are a provider of comprehensive solutions in the field of renewable energy, distributor of solar inverters, battery storage systems, charging stations for e-vehicles, and heat pumps in Central & Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, and Central Asia.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

• High willingness and ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them in practice
• Commitment to continuous self-improvement and skill development
• Basic knowledge of Windows (macOS) operating systems
• Understanding of computer networking fundamentals (LAN/Wi-Fi, IP addressing, basic troubleshooting)
• Ability to provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and peripherals
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 user and mailbox management
• Good problem-solving skills with a structured approach
• Clear communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in English required (min. B2 level)

Additional “Nice to Have” Technical Skills:

• Basic Active Directory administration
• Experience with ticketing/helpdesk systems
• Familiarity with IT security principles and antivirus solutions
• Basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for automation
• Knowledge of printer, scanner, and multifunction device setup
• Understanding of cloud services and remote access tools

Nice to Have Soft Skills:

• Curiosity and eagerness for continuous learning (primary priority for this role)
• Proactive approach to identifying and solving issues before they escalate
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and technologies
• Patience and empathy when supporting non-technical users
• Strong organizational skills for handling multiple requests in parallel
• Positive, can-do attitude and readiness to take ownership of tasks
• Resilience under time pressure while maintaining quality service
