PtP Junior Specialist, AP team

We are now looking for a PtP Junior Specialist to join our team in Ostrava in our Finance Operations, centrally supporting specific Business Areas of Stora Enso.

As a PtP Junior Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Daily tasks management within AP team
• Understanding SAP and the financial services modules, specifically accounts payable, to identify and correct problems that arise
• Verifying and processing and posting transactions related to AP processes
• First level support for the AP team, Business Units and customers in daily processing activities and closing tasks
• Providing periodic or on demand AP aging or open item balance reports when needed
• Receiving, researching, and resolving a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons
• Performing AP process monitoring, reconciliations, and controls
• Participating AP month end closing using related tasks; ensure that all activities are delivered on time. Cooperation with team members and other teams
• Close cooperation with other team members and with other Finance Operation teams and Business Units.

Your location will be in Ostrava, Czech Republic. You will report to PtP team lead.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a person with analytical skills and focus on precision, with interest in accounting and/or reporting.

You are a great communicator who can work both independently and as a part of a team.

It is a junior position so we expect you to have junior experience for the role.

What we expect you to have:

English on intermediate or above level
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
High school degree (accounting or economics is advantage)

Additional skills that will help you succeed in this role:

Knowledge of AP/PtP processes or SAP
