HMH Vision s.r.o. is an international consulting firm supporting aerospace and industrial clients with supply chain recovery and operational transformation.

The company operates internationally and works with clients and consultants across multiple countries in Europe, North America and Asia.
As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and structured Senior Accountant / Hlavní účetní to take ownership of our accounting activities.

This is not a standard accounting role.
You will act as the sole finance owner of a growing international consulting business, working directly with the CEO.

The role is designed as a part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) and may also be performed under a trade licence (IČO).

Key Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for accounting under Czech regulations
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns including EU cross-border services
• Issuing invoices to international clients
• Receiving and reviewing contractor invoices for completeness and correctness
• Preparing payment runs for management approval
• Handling multi-currency transactions (EUR, USD, CZK)
• Cooperation with external tax advisors
• Supporting month-end closing and financial reporting
• Maintaining structured and transparent financial records and supporting improvements to accounting processes.
• The accounting volume of the company is moderate and well suited to a structured part-time role.

Your Profile

Must have:

• 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of Czech accounting and VAT regulations
• Proven experience with EU cross-border services and reverse charge VAT treatment
• Experience handling international transactions (EU and non-EU) and multi-currency accounting (EUR, USD, CZK)
• Ability to take full ownership of accounting in a small company environment (no large internal finance team)
• Experience preparing VAT returns and coordinating with external tax advisors
• High level of accuracy, structure and reliability in financial data and processes
• Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong familiarity with POHODA accounting system

Strong advantages:

• Experience in a consulting, services or project-based business
• Experience working as the sole accountant / finance responsible person
• Experience with contractor-based cost structures and international invoicing
• Comfortable working directly with company leadership and supporting business decisions

• Highly structured and detail-oriented
• Independent, proactive and comfortable making decisions
• Able to operate with limited supervision and take full responsibility for outcomes
• Practical, solution-oriented mindset (not purely theoretical accounting)

What We Offer

• Compensation in the range of 30,000 – 45,000 CZK/month (part-time), depending on experience and cooperation structure (employment or IČO)

Location
