Archbishopric of Olomouc (AO) administers the Roman Catholic Archdiocese in central and northern Moravia. The Archdiocese covers the entire Olomouc and Zlín regions and parts of the South Moravian and Pardubice regions. The Archdiocese's investment activities are aimed at separating the church's property from the state and ensuring the Church's financial self-sufficiency. We are looking for a person who will join the AO team for the Investment Manager position.

Key responsibilities:

• Independent development of investment opportunities and their evaluation with the support of the AO Economic Department
• Presentation of investment opportunities to the Economic Council of AO
• Execution of investments approved by the Economic Council of AO
• Monitoring and supervision of the performance of realized investments, reporting them to the Economic Council of AO
• Representation of AO at the statutory bodies of investments (where applicable)
• Support of the Director of the Economic Department in the formulation and presentation of investment strategies

Education:

• University level (preferably finance or business majors)

Work Experience:

• Substantial previous experience as an investment professional
• Proven track record of past investment practice and achievements

Skills:

• Excellent Czech and English (oral and written)
• MS Office

Personal Characteristics:

• Stable, mature, balanced personality with good communication skills
• High level of integrity
• Thoroughness, responsibility and excellent organisational skills
• Team player, but with the abilities to work independently and make decisions
• Ability to understand and evaluate complex situations
