As our central hub in Prague expands, we are looking for a skilled Accountant to manage our financial operations across Europe. In this role, you will serve as the key link between our HQ and our branches in Germany and Italy, ensuring seamless financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Preparatory Accounting:
Prepare and categorize all business transactions for our German and Italian branches.

Tax Advisor Liaison:
Act as the primary point of contact for local tax advisors in Germany and Italy to facilitate monthly and annual closings.

Invoice Management:
Process accounts payable and receivable as well as travel expenses in accordance with local regulations.

Payment Cycles:
Manage payment runs and monitor international bank accounts.

Master Data:
Maintain vendor and customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Your Profile

Education:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related commercial field.

Language Skills (Mandatory):
English: Fluent (C1 level) – as it is the essential language for internal communication and global operations.

Language Skills (Advantageous):
German: Very helpful for direct coordination with German tax consultants and authorities.
Italian: A strong asset for managing correspondence with our Italian entities.

Experience:
Proven track record in preparatory accounting, ideally within an international or Shared Service Center (SSC) environment.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
