We are supporting a global, research-driven pharmaceutical company in hiring a Senior Network Business Specialist to join their international business operations team in Prague.

This role sits at the intersection of finance, internal services, and business decision-making. It is not an accounting role and not an IT position, but a business-facing role focused on financial insight, cost transparency, and supporting management decisions across internal services (e.g. network, connectivity, service delivery).

What this role is about

The purpose of the role is to act as a finance and business partner for internal service teams and management by:

• providing visibility into costs, budgets, and forecasts
• supporting business cases and scenario analysis
• helping leaders understand financial impact, risks, and trade-offs
• enabling informed decisions in a complex, international environment
• You will work closely with service owners and stakeholders, translating operational inputs into clear business and financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and analyse budgets and forecasts for internal services
• Review cost trends, variances, and key cost drivers
• Support decision-making and prioritisation through scenario analysis
• Partner with service teams to improve cost transparency and planning
• Prepare insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders
• Identify risks, efficiencies, and optimisation opportunities

Who we are looking for

• Background in finance, controlling, FP&A, or business operations
• Experience partnering with stakeholders and supporting decisions
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, complex environments
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to think beyond numbers and understand business impact
• Experience in a regulated or international environment is an advantage.

👉 This is not an IT role – Technical knowledge of networks or infrastructure is not required.
