Junior Aircraft Engineer – Aircraft & UAV Development

We are seeking a Junior Aircraft Engineer to join an experienced, dynamic engineering team developing new fixed-wing aircraft and UAVs. This position is ideal for an engineer at the beginning of their career who is eager to learn, pays attention to detail, and takes responsibility for assigned tasks.

You will work under the guidance of senior engineers while contributing to real aircraft and UAV development projects, from early design through testing and flight.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in aircraft and UAV design and development
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation (drawings, reports, calculations)
• Assist with CAD modelling and design updates
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
• Support prototype manufacturing, assembly, and testing
• Assist during ground tests and flight test activities when required
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed with accuracy, discipline, and attention to detail
• Actively learn applicable standards, regulations, and best engineering practices

Required Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• 0–3 years of experience in aircraft, UAV, or mechanical engineering
• Basic understanding of:
• Aircraft structures and systems, or
• UAV design and integration
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Strong willingness to learn, improve, and take responsibility
• High attention to detail and quality of work
• Reliable, structured approach to completing tasks
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

• Internship or thesis related to aircraft or UAV development
• Basic experience with CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, NX, CATIA)
• Exposure to composites, metallic structures, or manufacturing
• Interest in certification, testing, or flight operations
• Experience in student aerospace projects or UAV teams
