We are seeking a creative and adaptable Engineering Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll support sales with technical expertise, collaborate with clients, and deliver innovative engineering solutions that align with production and project goals. You’ll travel frequently, tackle complex challenges, and help drive projects from design through delivery.

This is a unique opportunity to grow into leading our technical department. You’ll apply your specialist knowledge, manage projects, ensure quality and compliance, and act as a trusted advisor both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

• Deep Specialization & Technical Expertise
• Apply advanced technical knowledge in our production specialized area.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them effectively to projects.
• Serve as an internal consultant, advising colleagues and departments with specialist knowledge.
• Problem-Solving & Design
• Tackle intricate engineering challenges with creativity and innovation.
• Design, develop, and oversee engineering solutions that meet client needs and align with production capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and organizational quality requirements.
• Project Involvement & Management
• Lead and contribute to engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to standards.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Provide progress updates and technical guidance throughout project lifecycles.
• Collaboration & Client Engagement
• Partner with sales to support client meetings, proposals, and solution presentations.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients, stakeholders, and non-technical colleagues.
• Work closely engineering production, and other technical staff to achieve project goals.
• Leadership Development
• Develop processes and systems that will scale as the company grows.
• Mentor team members in technical problem-solving and best practices.
• Prepare to transition into leading the technical department over time

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Engineering
• 3–5 years of engineering experience, with evidence of specialist expertise.
• Strong technical problem-solving and design capabilities.
• Excellent communication and consultative skills, both client-facing and internal.
• Experience in or willingness to learn project management.
• Flexibility to travel frequently for client and project engagements.
• Quick learner, adaptable, and motivated to grow into a leadership position.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
• Fluent in German and English – a must
