Based in Prague, we are looking for a dedicated Freight Forwarding Agent to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

Freight Forwarding & Procurement:

• Independently procure, coordinate, and manage FCL, LCL, FTL, LTL, and AIR shipments in line with customer requirements and rate agreements.

Market & Supplier Management:

• Leverage your knowledge of the forwarding market and key carriers/suppliers to secure competitive rates and reliable service.

Ownership of Performance:

• Take responsibility for shipment execution, service quality, and profitability, continuously improving operational and financial performance.

Confirmation & Execution Management:

• Ensure timely and accurate booking confirmations and smooth end-to-end shipment execution.

Central Communication Hub:

• Act as the main point of contact between customers and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer experience.

Exception Handling:

• Proactively identify issues and collaborate with partners to resolve exceptions efficiently.

Customer Satisfaction & KPIs:

• Deliver great customer service while meeting agreed KPIs and commercial targets.

Process & Strategy Alignment:

• Follow defined processes while remaining flexible and willing to adapt to our evolving business strategy and goals.

Continuous Improvement:

• Actively contribute ideas to improve operations, service quality, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of the forwarding market and industry players.
• Ability to manage shipments end-to-end with a strong sense of ownership.
• Commercial mindset with an understanding of costs, margins, and profitability.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with ocean freight is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in English; Czech is a plus.
