Revolgy is looking for a Business Systems Analyst / Billing Engineer who thrives on the "archaeology" of technology. Our internal backend is a complex maze—we need someone excited to map it, find their way around in it. You will serve as the primary technical owner for mission-critical applications (Billing, Zulu, MyServices, Braintree), acting as the bridge between high-level Finance needs and deep-stack technical stability.

Location & Contract Type

Location 🌍 Hybrid position open to candidates within 1 hour driving distance from Prague. Knowledge of Czech/Slovak language is a must.
Contract Type ✍️ This position is open for candidates seeking Business-to-Business (B2B) contract positions or employment in Czechia.

What Will You Do?

• AI-Native Orchestration: Design workflows entirely around AI—utilizing tools like Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or Codex—to perform multi-step orchestration, monitor system health, and resolve errors.
• Forensic Investigation: Trace billing discrepancies (e.g., a missing GCP project ID or a $0.05 variance) across raw CSVs, BigQuery logs, and Python code.
• The "Maze" Mastery: Reverse-engineer and document historical architectural decisions in a decade-old codebase to ensure new fixes improve rather than destabilize the system. Isolate root causes within complex, interconnected systems to provide long-term fixes rather than surface-level patches.
• Financial Operations: Collaborate directly with the Finance team to translate business logic into automated technical solutions. Execute the monthly invoicing run. Important: This requires availability during the billing window (first 4 days of the month), which occasionally falls on weekends.
• Reduce Manual Toil: Systematically identify manual checks and "spreadsheet-based" processes and replace them with scalable, automated architectural solution, like autonomous AI agents and robust code
• Full-Stack Problem Solving: Independently resolve bugs across the entire stack. While your heavy focus will be on Python (backend), you are comfortable diving into the Vue.js/Nuxt.js (frontend) when the mission requires it.

What You Bring

• An Investigative Mindset: You are patient and curious enough to dig into legacy code and "boring" data until you find the truth.
• AI-First Problem Solving: You don’t just manually trace bugs; you design AI-driven processes to scan logs and history for anomalies.
• Technical Stack: Python: Expert at backend scripting and data logic. GCP: Proficient with BigQuery (SQL), Datastore, and App Engine.
• Frontend: Familiarity with Vue.js/Nuxt.js to handle full-stack resolutions.
• Finance Fluency: Understanding of VAT, VIES compliance, revenue accounts, and accounting dimensions. You have empathy for Finance users but the backbone to push for better technical standards.
• Ownership: You take pride in "owning" the system. When a billing cycle is live, you are the reliable point of contact.
• Fluent Czech / Slovak and English and living within 1-hour driving distance from Prague.
