We are looking for an experienced cybersecurity professional to join our global IT Security team as a Security Monitoring Specialist in a company that is one of the leading manufacturers in the automotive industry.

In this role, you will help protect the company’s infrastructure and cloud environments. Your responsibilities will include monitoring security events, developing automation, and ensuring effective real-time incident response.

What you will do:

• Proactively detect, analyze, and resolve security incidents across on-premise and cloud environments
• Contribute to improving security processes and incident response procedures
• Perform efficient correlation and analysis of events and logs to enable rapid threat mitigation
• Design and implement automated SOAR playbooks
• Manage, tune, and expand SIEM platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Elastic)
• Integrate logging agents, parse, and normalize data from multiple sources
• Monitor security vulnerabilities in cooperation with IT teams, SOC analysts, and security architects

What we are looking for:

We are seeking a candidate with strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and hands-on experience in security monitoring:

• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or incident response
• Ability to independently assess situations and respond quickly to security threats
• Practical experience with SIEM and SOAR tools
• Knowledge of scripting and query languages (Python, KQL, Regex)
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and logging standards
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys)
• Very good English skills for daily communication in an international environment
