Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the accounting team (general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, payroll interface, cost accounting).
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
• Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and coordinate audits with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, CIT, withholding tax, other relevant taxes), including preparation or review of tax returns.
• Maintain and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in line with group standards and automotive industry requirements (e.g., IATF/ISO).
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts; ensure correctness of accruals, provisions, and reserves.
• Coordinate and validate inventory counts (raw materials, WIP, finished goods, spare parts, tools).
• Cooperate with the Controlling and Production departments on budget preparation, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Support management with ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for operational and strategic decisions.
• Act as key contact for auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other external stakeholders in accounting and tax matters.
• Participate in implementation and optimization of ERP systems and accounting-related IT tools.
• Ensure proper documentation and archiving of accounting records in line with legal requirements and group rules.
• Train, develop, and evaluate accounting staff; ensure knowledge of changes in legislation and group policies.

Requirements / Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in accounting, including at least 3-5 years in a senior or chief accountant role (preferably in automotive or manufacturing environment).
• Excellent knowledge of local accounting standards and tax legislation; knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.
• Experience with cost accounting and inventory accounting in a production company.
• Strong user knowledge of ERP system SAP is a must and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• English – at least upper-intermediate level (spoken and written); other languages of the group are an advantage.
