IT Application Support Specialist - candidates located in Prague

Our client is expanding its Czech branch! They are looking for several new colleagues to join in supporting and implementing IT solutions for one of their major global customers. Their offices are located in the prestigious City Tower in Prague 4.

Our client develops the world-class platform for supply chain management. They are currently building a dedicated support team that will serve as a key partner for their global client, ensuring smooth operations and supporting the rollout of their software at sites worldwide.

Type of cooperation: fully on-site

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Your mission will be to provide high-level application support and oversee the system's functionality in a live environment.

• Analysing and resolving technical and functional requests from users.
• Actively using SQL for diagnostics and resolving data-related issues.
• Participating in go-live phases directly at the client’s international locations.
• Close collaboration with the international customer's team.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Experience with IT or Application support
• Logical mindset and the ability to effectively identify the root cause of issues.
• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) for daily professional communication.
• Knowledge of SQL (writing queries, data manipulation) is a significant advantage.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Flexibility for occasional business trips abroad during product deployments.
• Occasional participation in on‑call duties
