TU Prague City (https://www.tees.ac.uk/prague/) is looking for a Lecturer for the Undergraduate International Management course, focusing on Accountancy and Finance.

The modules you will be teaching are Financial Accounting and Reporting, Management Accounting and Finance and International Financial Markets. You should have a good knowledge of the following key teaching Areas:

• Financial accounting legislation and international accounting standards
• Preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Financial ratio analysis and performance evaluation
• Costing frameworks, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Investment appraisal and quantitative decision-making tools
• Financial markets, institutions, and instruments
• International money, bond, and equity markets
• Central banking, monetary policy, and exchange rates
• Risk management and derivatives (futures, options, swaps)

Required Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
• Strong subject knowledge across accounting and finance disciplines
• Higher education teaching experience desirable

Responsibilities

The standard academic role at TU Prague City includes a combination of teaching, scholarly activity, professional practice, enterprise and knowledge exchange, and associated administration activities. While all roles will combine these areas of work, the relative weight of each will vary between and over time for each individual role holder. The main teaching related duties include:

• To ensure that learning provided to students is contemporary, underpinned and informed by scholarly activity, professional practice, external stakeholders and current developments in the field, to ensure the advancement of relevant discipline areas within TU Prague City.
• To support student learning, the pastoral needs of students, and student retention through the provision of personal tutoring, academic advice and guidance.
• To contribute to the design, delivery, assessment and quality assurance of TU Prague City’s programmes and modules at all levels, including module leadership and curriculum development.
• To deliver innovative, engaging and effective teaching through a range of delivery styles including distance learning, team based working and so on.

We Offer

A Lecturer position within the School of Business and Computing.

Hours: 15 contact teaching hours per week
Salary: 40,800 CZK gross per month

Start Date: 16th February 2026
