ServiceNow Developer/Back-end developer - Full remote

We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer who wants to help build modern, scalable, and AI-enhanced solutions. You will work with the latest capabilities of the ServiceNow platform — from advanced automation to generative AI — and develop backend logic that elevates enterprise services to the next level.

You will be part of an international, agile team and contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality enterprise solutions across multiple ServiceNow modules.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop backend functionalities on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript
• (Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer actions, Scheduled Jobs, Scripted REST APIs).
• Work with AI capabilities in ServiceNow, such as Now Assist, AI Search, intelligent routing, and predictive models.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Service Portal and Service Operations Workspace, integrating data, logic, and AI to deliver a modern and intuitive user experience.
• Design data structures, workflows, and automation across various ServiceNow modules (e.g. ITSM, GRC, SIR, ITAM – depending on the project).
• Test, document, and deliver solutions with a strong focus on quality, including active participation in code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with architects, analysts, and other team members in an agile environment.
• Continuously explore new ServiceNow platform capabilities and proactively suggest improvements to existing solutions.

Your Profile

• Hands-on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform (minimum 2 years).
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow capabilities and best practices.
• Experience with Script Includes, Business Rules, Flow Designer, and Scripted REST APIs.
• Knowledge of JavaScript (server-side scripting); AngularJS is an advantage.
• Experience with Service Portal, Service Operations Workspace, and/or AI features in ServiceNow (AI Search, Now Assist, generative AI use cases) is a strong advantage.
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and clean solutions.
• English proficiency sufficient for effective communication in an international team.
• The candidate must be currently based in the Czech Republic or Slovakia and authorized to work in the European Union.
