Part-Time Associate Lecturer for the faculty of Arts

TU Prague City (https://www.tees.ac.uk/prague/) is looking for a part-time, Associate Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Creative Media Production course.

The module you will be teaching on (Media Trends and Distribution) encourages students to explore the diverse range of existing and emerging technologies, platforms and techniques in media industries. The applicant must have good knowledge of the contemporary developments and trends within those industries such as (but not limited to) Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Artificial Reality, Mixed Reality, Interactive Media, Gaming, Sensors, Haptic Feedback, etc.

You will help students identify and critically analyse the impact and consequences of emergent digital technologies through a series of “real world” case studies and industry analyses. Through group debates and independent research you will guide students to put forward new hypotheses about future media trends in a 3000 words report submitted at the end of semester.

Required qualifications

Necessary minimum qualification of a Masters degree in an appropriate field of study.
Teaching is held in English, to be held on-site.

Responsibilies

Your responsibilities include: teaching and assessing student assignments.
Teaching materials will be provided.

We offer

36 hours delivery (700Kč per hour), teaching 4 hours per week in the period of January (beginning the week of January 5.) until the end of March. Timetable to be confirmed and negotiable.
