Position: Operations Specialist
About Us: We are an ambitious logistics startup revolutionizing the way goods move across the globe. Our dynamic team is committed to providing top-notch services to our clients, ensuring efficient and reliable transportation solutions. Based in Prague, we are looking for a dedicated Operations Clerk to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
Ocean Freight Booking: Coordinate ocean freight bookings with carriers according to customer requirements and rate agreements.
Confirmation Management: Ensure booking confirmations are received accurately and within the agreed timeline.
Central Communication Hub: Act as the central point of contact between suppliers and customers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Exception Handling: Identify any exceptions and collaborate with suppliers to find effective solutions.
Customer Satisfaction: Meet customer requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs) by delivering exceptional service.
Process Adherence: Work according to defined processes, ensuring their consistent follow-up and adherence.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to the enhancement of our logistics processes and services.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in logistics or a similar role is preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
Familiarity with ocean freight operations is a plus.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Czech is advantageous.
