What will be your role:

You will support the organisation’s mission by maintaining transparent financial records and ensuring full compliance with reporting obligations, national legislation and internal policies. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and implementation of modern tools. Active collaboration with various departments, external partners, and international stakeholders is expected to ensure smooth financial processes.

The main activities of the role are:

• Comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting in accordance with Czech accounting standards
• Participation in monthly and annual financial closings
• Preparation of VAT reports (returns, control and summary statements)
• Regular reconciliation of the company’s receivables and payables
• Cooperation in audits and preparation of tax returns
• Financial reporting for company management and communication with relevant institutions
• Close cooperation with other departments and external consultants

We expect you to have:

• Secondary or university education in Economics or a related field
• Experience in accounting, preferably in a larger or international organisation
• Excellent knowledge of Czech accounting and tax legislation
• Proficient knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
• Practical experience with the SAP S/4HANA accounting system (required)
• Proactive approach, accuracy, independence, and attention to detail
• Excellent command of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
