Second Foundation is an international energy trading and asset management firm headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic, with offices in Switzerland, Germany, Japan and the US. Our team of 400 professionals specializes in power trading, transforming complex data into market-leading trading strategies through advanced technology and sophisticated quantitative modeling.

We are looking for a Pricing Data Analyst to support our Pricing Desk operations. The role is full-time, but we are also open to part-time (minimum 60%) for motivated last-year students or recent graduates who want to grow their career in a data-driven, international environment.

What would you work on?

• Own the analysis of tenders’ documentation.
• Prepare accurate and well-structured input datasets for our pricing models.
• Perform thorough data checks, ensuring completeness and integrity.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies before data submission.
• Work closely with Sales teams to clarify missing or unclear inputs.
• Communicate with customers when additional information is required.
• Keep the Pricing Desk updated on data status and potential issues.

What makes you a great candidate?

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data handling, formatting, and organization.
• Knowledge of Python and AI affinity is a plus (for automation and data processing).
• Fluent English (spoken and written); basic German is required (reading and simple communication).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear, effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Previous experience in the energy industry a plus.
