What tasks are ahead of you?

• Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts (logistic and transport agreements, purchase agreement, lease contracts, NDA, LOI etc.).
• Participation in contract negotiations with both customers and suppliers(across multiple jurisdictions).
• Collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders for addressing contractual requirements/queries.
• Collaboration with the global legal team and support with global legal matters in line with the guidelines of the group/corporate legal team.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal matters by assessing the risk and proposing appropriate mitigations.
• Creating and managing standard templates and knowledge repositories in line with the group legal team.
• Ensuring consistency in commercial contracts throughout the region.
• Track laws and regulations that are relevant to the company’s business and policies.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as an in-house legal department, preferably in an international company or law firm.
• Very good knowledge of civil law and commercial law (knowledge of transport law will be an additional advantage).
• Experience in negotiating commercial contracts and preparing applications to the court register.
• Experience in serving entities from the logistics and transport industries will be an additional advantage.
• Professional command of English level (including legal terminology).
• Good communication, drafting and research skills.
• Ability to conduct effective negotiations.
• Ability to provide timely legal advice to the business stakeholders.
• Ability to foster a culture of learning, sharing and constant improvement of legal knowledge management.
