Role Summary:

The Senior Deduction Analyst is responsible for supporting the resolution of customer deductions, ensuring accurate documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain healthy receivables. This role also extends to senior AR/GL tasks (customer aging, closing activities) and requires proactive approach in issue resolution, ownership in assigned tasks and support for less experienced colleagues. The role is intended for North America market, strong English is a must. The role is supported by junior colleague.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate customer deductions related to pricing, shortages, returns, and promotions.
• Gather supporting documentation and escalate invalid deductions.
• Maintain accurate records of deduction claims and resolutions.
• Prepare and post related closing entries (Credit Memo reserve, Bad debt reserve)
• Assist in preparing reports and summaries for internal stakeholders and external audits
• Ensuring process KPIs related to deductions are met
• Collaborate with customer service, sales, and logistics teams to resolve disputes.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to deductions.
• Support other AR team members in aging activities and cash receipts application.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is a plus
• Experience as deduction analyst and/or over 5 years of Account Receivable analyst
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, D365)
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
