What will you be doing in this role?

As IT Operations Engineer for the CEE region, you’ll oversee IT operations across Prague and other Eastern European sites. You’ll coordinate with local IT service providers and act as the main link between regional users, external partners, and Ahrend’s global IT team. You’ll also manage collaboration with our OT partner for the automated factory and lead governance of our regional ERP system. You’ll report to the IT Operations Manager based in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities of this role:

IT Operations & Cloud

Manage local IT service provider and ensure SLA compliance.
Administer Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune.
Support infrastructure, devices, printing, accounts, and networking.
Align regional IT activities with global strategies.

Cybersecurity

Ensure compliance with company cybersecurity policies.
Operate Microsoft Defender and lead awareness campaigns.
Coordinate local security incidents and audits.

OT & Factory Automation

Manage external OT provider and ensure stable factory IT operations.
Act as liaison between factory, OT partner, and central IT.

ERP Coordination (Eastern Europe)

Serve as main contact for custom ERP system.
Manage change requests, vendor communication, and delivery timelines.
Ensure integration with related platforms (e.g., Solidworks, M365).

Mobile Device Management

Oversee mobile contracts, tenders, and hardware.
Government Systems

Administer Czech Data Mailboxes and PostSignum electronic signatures.

What do we expect from you?

5+ years of experience in IT Operations.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Defender, Azure, Intune, and ITIL-based service management.
Experience with vendor management and helpdesk oversight.
Familiarity with production environments and OT is a strong advantage.
Affinity with design and drawing tools (e.g., Solidworks software) is a plus.
Fluent in English and Czech.
Strong communication and coordination skills with both internal and external partners.
