The Data Scientist will be responsible for leading data science projects and developing innovative solutions that drive business growth and efficiency. This role requires a strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and advanced analytics, as well as the ability to translate complex insights into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Which challenges are expecting you:

• Execute data science projects — from idea to deployment — aligned with business goals.
• Build and apply statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve real business problems.
• Analyze complex data structures and design effective data models.
• Manage ETL processes, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Apply data transformation techniques such as enrichment, blending, and filtering.
• Collaborate with teams across the business to embed data-driven insights into decision-making.
• Design experiments, validate models, and ensure reliable outcomes.
• Present insights through clear visualizations and reports.
• Support cost analyses and techno-economic evaluations.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
• Stay up to date with modern data science tools and trends.

Your desired profile:

Must have skills:

• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or IT, with a focus on ETL processes and data integration.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a successful track record of end-to-end project delivery.
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and/or big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and understanding of their data structures.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of technology and end-to-end business processes.
• Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset with strong self-organization skills.
• Collaborative attitude and professional, service-oriented approach.

Nice to have skills:

• Fluent German
• Experience with IT management tools such as JIRA, CAPE, or JIRA@BR
• Experience working in corporate and cross-functional environments
