Why This Role Matters

As our People & Culture Partner, you'll be instrumental in maintaining what makes VAFO special while supporting our ambitious growth trajectory. What You'll Do

Strategic Partnership

• Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with company growth objectives

• Drive talent acquisition strategies to bring the best professionals who share our values

• Design and implement development programs that help people grow alongside the company

Culture Guardian

• Preserve and nurture our family-business culture while scaling professionally

• Foster the collaborative, respectful environment that defines VAFO

• Champion our values: quality without compromise, love for pets, and fairness in all dealings

People Development

• Coach managers and employees to reach their potential

• Create career pathways that match our rapid expansion with individual aspirations

• Lead initiatives around performance, engagement, and organizational development

Practical HR Excellence

• Oversee employee relations, ensuring fair and transparent processes

• Manage compensation, benefits, and HR policies

• Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and systems

Who You Are

Essential

• 5+ years in HR/People & Culture roles, with strategic partnership experience

• Genuine passion for people development and organizational culture

• Fluent in English and Czech (we're an international family)

• Strong business acumen with ability to balance growth ambitions with people needs

• Hands-on approach - you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves
