About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and creative native English speaker to join our team as an English Language Teacher for students aged 12–15 for a part-time job (11 hours a week). Our students have a minimum level of English proficiency of B2, as most of them have already completed a Czech-English program at our primary school.

The exact time of English classes that we need to be covered:

Monday 9:25-11:15
Tuesday 10:30-11:15
Wednesday 8:30-10:10 and 12:10-12:55
Thursday 10:30-12:05

About Us

Duhovka Middle School offers Czech - English education based learning in context with an emphasis on social skills, individual attention, hands-on experience, and a prepared environment. The entire Middle School is designed to build life skills, as well as prepare students for transition to any high school.

What You’ll Do

• Create an engaging, supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and critical thinking.
• Collaborate on designing and implementing a curriculum for the English Language.
• Support students aged 12 - 15 years in their learning, developing their English language skills as well as their learning, social, and communication competencies.
• Provide regular feedback on progress to students and parents.

What We’re Looking For

• Native English speaker (from an English-speaking country only)
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in classroom management is highly valued
• Proven experience in teaching English at the Elementary or High school level
• Passion for alternative education
