What You’ll Be Driving

• Lead the design, optimization, and verification of complex optical systems using Zemax OpticStudio, CODE V, and advanced ray-tracing tools.
• Perform sensitivity and tolerance analyses to ensure manufacturability and performance of optomechanical assemblies.
• Create precise technical documentation and CAD models (Creo) in close collaboration with in-house manufacturing teams.
• Engage directly with global customers, delivering technical presentations and leading design discussions.
• Drive innovation in optical design, continuously improving system performance and integration.
• Collaborate with experts in mechanical design, metrology, software development, and prototyping.

What You Bring

• PhD or Master’s in Optics, Physics, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in optical design for semiconductor applications.
• Deep expertise in optical aberrations, tolerance analysis, and optomechanical integration.
• Advanced proficiency in Zemax OpticStudio, CODE V, and CAD tools (e.g. Creo).
• Programming skills (e.g. Python) or scripting experience in simulation environments.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
• Proven ability to thrive in interdisciplinary teams.

Bonus Skills That Set You Apart

• Experience with VirtualLab, optiSLang, LightTools, Speos.
• Knowledge of global optimization algorithms and aspherical lens design.
• Understanding of polarization, high NA systems, and high-performance optics.
• Hands-on experience with STOP analysis (Structural Thermal Optical Performance).
• Broader engineering knowledge in mechanics, photonics, FEM/structural analysis.
