IT Systems & ERP (Odoo) Support Specialist

We’re looking for a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our Prague Operations Center - taking ownership of our local IT operations and driving improvements to our ERP system, Odoo.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent IT graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience who wants to take on a broad and meaningful role as the go-to in-house IT person in a small, dynamic office.

From a project management perspective, your main mission will be to enhance and further develop our ERP system, Odoo.

You will also be responsible for providing comprehensive IT support to approximately 20 employees made up of Operations, Finance/HR and Sales Departments.

Your Role:

ERP & Project Work (70%)

• Learn and manage our Odoo ERP system, using Odoo Studio and related tools to customise forms, workflows, and reports.
• Implement improvements or automations - basic scripting (Python/XML) is required.
• Analyse business processes to identify improvements and optimise system use.
• Collaborate with management and occasionally with external developers on improvements of Odoo.
• Support teams with technical aspects of operational projects.

IT Support & Administration (30 %)

• Serve as the internal IT point of contact for our external IT provider (servers, backups, infrastructure).
• Manage and install hardware and software (computers, phones, printers, other devices, etc.).
• Install, configure, and maintain software used across the company, such as Odoo, Zimbra, RocketChat, DokuWiki, Nextcloud and Windows.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and system permissions.
• Provide basic IT training for new employees and support colleagues with day-to-day IT questions.
• Maintain relationships with external suppliers (IT support provider, ERP developers, internet provider, etc.).
• Oversee updates and content for the company website.

Our Tech Environment

• Windows Server with Active Directory.
• Self-hosted open-source tools - Odoo, Zimbra, Nextcloud, RocketChat, Dokuwiki.
• Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Various industry-specific software.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Excellent English; Czech is a strong advantage.
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1-2 years’ experience in an IT role, ideally with some exposure to ERP systems or databases.
• Interest in Odoo and willingness to learn light customisation or scripting (via Odoo Studio or basic Python/XML edits).
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Knowledge of both HW and SW; including system setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with data security or ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of project management principles (PRINCE2, PMP, or similar).
