We’re seeking an Analytics Engineer who writes efficient SQL and thinks in business impact. You will evaluate what makes sense, challenge assumptions, and design datasets that power decisions. You'll shape how data is modeled, transformed, and used across the company.

Detailed job description:

Collaborate with BI Analysts and Data Engineers to refine datasets, metrics, and orchestrations.
Build and maintain data models and SQL transformations.
Design robust ETL/ELT pipelines and semantic layers that serve BI reporting needs.
Write and optimize SQL for clarity and performance.
Implement data quality checks, documentation, and lineage.
Troubleshoot data issues and support stakeholders with reliable, well-modeled datasets.

Tech stack:

SQL, Power BI - must have
DAX - nice to have
Python - nice to have
Experience with Fabric or similar cloud-based data platforms is a plus.

Requirements:

2–4 years in a similar role
Solid SQL and data modeling skills ( comfortable with CTEs, window functions and building efficient transformations)
Native Czech/Slovak language and English at least at B2 level, both written and verbal.
Understanding of ETL/ELT and orchestration.
Experience preparing data for Power BI (semantic models; DAX basics welcome).
Familiarity with Git.
Independent and proactive — capable of driving tasks from idea to implementation.
Interest in logistics or operations data.
