About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Network Administrator to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level professionals who want to gain hands-on experience in managing and supporting network systems.

You will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading our network infrastructure while ensuring performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Network Maintenance & Support

• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi systems).
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues to minimize downtime.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate network documentation including diagrams, procedures, and configurations.

User Support

• Provide technical support for network-related issues and respond promptly to service requests.

• Assist users with connectivity and access problems.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, firewall rules.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix).
• Good working knowledge of GNU/Linux or Unix OS, with ability to write shell scripts.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Proxmox).
• Hands-on experience with Galera, clustering, MariaDB, Ceph, Maxscale is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, able to explain technical topics to non-technical users.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications (Preferred):
CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent entry-level networking certifications.
