(Senior) Accountant General Ledger (all genders)

Please note that this position is based in Munich or Prague, Czech Republic and follows our hybrid working model. Relocation support is not offered.

The following adventures await you at Schleich:

• Independent accounting of domestic and international companies in the Group in accordance with HGB / IFRS
• Carrying out intercompany reconciliations
• Preparation of advance VAT returns and other reports
• Preparation of timely monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
• Assisting with asset accounting and leasing in accordance with HGB / IFRS 16
• Proactive cooperation in the optimization and further development of general ledger processes and procedures
• Implementation of a transformation process towards agile methods

Your story so far:

• Successfully completed commercial training with additional training as an accountant
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in an international environment
• Sound knowledge of accounting in accordance with HGB and IFRS
• Very good knowledge of SAP R/3 FI-CO or SAP s4/Hana
• Very good knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Excel
• Business fluent in English; German and the knowledge of other languages e.g. French or Spanish is a plus
