In this role, you will be responsible for accounting activities for the US, Canada, and the Czech Republic.

A day in the life:

• Perform daily accounting activities to support accurate and timely financial reporting
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes with journal entries and perform reconciliations
• Handle cash management and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with balance sheet account analysis, including fixed assets, prepaids, and debt classifications
• Support payroll accounting and related general ledger activities
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounting records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and US GAAP standards while working closely with the US team
• Support audit preparation by providing accurate documentation and reports for internal and external auditors
• Provide support on various ad-hoc projects and financial tasks as business needs arise
• Support statutory reporting requirements and regulatory compliance

What we are looking for...

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome!)
• 1-3 years of general accounting experience - a public accounting firm background is a plus
• Solid understanding of Czech Accounting Standards, US GAAP, and fundamental accounting principles
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Advanced proficiency in English for cooperation with US teams
• Experience with accounting software
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic accounting environment
