Overview
We are seeking a BI Developer / Data Engineer to join our DWH Analytics team. This role is important for integrating data into our Snowflake Data Warehouse, leveraging DBT for data transformation, and developing insightful Power BI reports.

Job Role and Responsibilities

Data Integration and Management:

• Implement and maintain data integration processes to bring new data to Snowflake DWH.
• Learn and apply DBT for data transformation tasks, following established patterns and best practices.
• Maintain the integrity and performance of the Snowflake DWH, implementing monitoring, quality checks, and troubleshooting as necessary.

Data Modeling and Analytics:

• Create and maintain report data models within Snowflake DWH.
• Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand business needs and help translate them into technical solutions.

BI Reporting and Visualization:

• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights to business users and supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Work closely with business teams to refine project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.

Growth and Development:

• Actively participate in team knowledge-sharing sessions and technical discussions.
• Take initiative to learn new technologies and best practices in data warehousing and BI development.
• Document processes and maintain technical documentation for assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.

• Basic knowledge of data warehousing principles.

• Familiarity with BI tools, preferably Power BI.

• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Knowledge of DBT and Snowflake is a plus but not required.
