Astratex also successfully develops its own product lines (private labels) and invests in development, quality, and enhancing the shopping experience, including advisory services and an efficient returns system. A key role is also played by digitalization and automation of processes, aimed at accelerating and simplifying the entire purchasing and after-sales service experience.

About the Role

• We are looking for a proactive and independent Country Manager for Poland who will help us significantly strengthen our presence in the Polish market. You will be responsible for localising global campaigns and initiatives while designing and implementing local activities in line with Polish market specifics and customer needs.
• You will have a crucial influence on how Astratex communicates with Polish customers and delivers services to them, while taking direct responsibility for the local marketing strategy aimed at significantly increasing market share in Poland.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve the revenue plan for the Polish market, monitor the budget, and maintain the required margin and profitability for the country.
• Localise and adapt global marketing campaigns (online, offline, email, social media, etc.) to the needs and expectations of the Polish market.
• In collaboration with the Global Social Media Manager, manage communication on Polish social media platforms (e.g., posting, commenting, engaging with users).
• Work closely with the marketing department to adapt media planning, performance marketing, and other activities for the local market.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of content on the Polish website (astratex.pl), including translation and proofreading of product descriptions, banners, blog and magazine articles, and other materials.
• Actively participate in the localisation of email marketing campaigns and newsletters – including translations, proofreading, and local optimisation.
• Provide constructive feedback to central teams based on local market specifics and customer reactions, with the goal of continuous improvement.
• Monitor marketing and sales performance metrics and propose local recommendations to improve conversion and customer experience.
• Monitor and evaluate customer reviews (e.g., on Opineo.pl), identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Stay informed about e-commerce trends and competitor activities in Poland, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Prepare regular market updates and insights for the central team and management.
• Recommend new services (e.g., delivery options, payment methods, special tools) for the Polish market.

Requirements

• University degree, ideally in Business, Marketing, or Communication.
• Alternatively, secondary education with relevant work experience.
• Strong and proven experience in Polish e-commerce, ideally in fashion or retail.
• Native Polish speaker, fluent in English or Czech (spoken and written).
• Excellent understanding of Polish online consumer behaviour and local market trends.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills – being a team player is essential.
• Ability to work independently and proactively within an international, cross-functional, matrix-structured team.
• Valid driving licence.
• Willingness to work from a home office in Poland, with regular travel to our Prague HQ/Náchod (more frequent travel during the trial period).
