PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze Supplier Releases and Ship Schedules generated through MRP system to manage supply of production materials for multiple Shawmut facilities
Cooperate with Warehouse, Customer Care service (daily/weekly/ urgent needs)
Ability to work with suppliers’ over-seas – Europe & China
Generate and send quote requests to suppliers, follow up for timely responses
Communication with transport companies (price negotiation), arranging transport
Pair invoices with receiving documents, create vouchering
Excel overview with planned material quantity, daily update
Create weekly schedule for Incoming deliveries of raw material
Input material timing and PO’s into Program Planning System for sample request tracking
Coordinate, follow-up and communicate raw material information for open sample orders

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

3-5 years Supply Chain or Purchasing experience or relevant course of study
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
Ability to interact with all levels and disciplines of internal and vendor organization
English knowledge both verbal and written
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and planning skills
International Logistics and Automotive experience a plus
