We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth efforts in the fields of industrial automation, the pharmaceutical sector, and general industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and contributing strategically to the company’s long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify and develop business opportunities in the automotive, pharmaceutical, and industrial markets
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
Understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions in cooperation with technical and engineering teams
Prepare and present commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documentation
Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
Collaborate with marketing to design targeted campaigns and support lead generation efforts
Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar business development or sales role (3–5+ years), ideally in automation, pharma, or industrial technology
Good knowledge of the local market (preferably Central/Eastern Europe), especially in pharma and industrial sectors
Experience selling complex technical solutions (e.g. automation systems, robotics, etc.)
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong results orientation and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Fluent in English and Slovak/Czech (spoken and written); other languages are an advantage
Valid driving license (B category) and willingness to travel
