Logistics Control Tower Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5–10 logistics professionals in day-to-day control tower operations.
• Perform daily operational tasks on behalf of the team members when needed.
• Manage end-to-end shipment visibility, exception handling, and escalation management across multiple clients and regions.
• Ensure operational KPIs and SLAs are met and continuously improved.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, carriers, and global logistics partners.
• Support the Operations Manager in implementing process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives.
• Analyze operational data and provide regular performance and status reports.
• Develop performance goals for the team and team members
• Analize employee performance data and together with the Operations Manager conduct the annual performance review.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer excellence.

Qualifications:

• EU citizen or work permit for Czech Republic
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ocean freight logistics or related supply chain functions.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of international shipping processes, Incoterms, and documentation.
• Proficient in logistics systems and MS Office; experience with TMS or visibility platforms is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; Czech or other languages are an advantage.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
