What is waiting for you:
We are looking for an experienced Retail Manager to develop and manage our stores in both Czechia and Slovakia.
Key Responsibilities (Prioritized for Market Establishment Phase):
1. Store Openings, Takeovers & Refits
• Take an active role in the setup, takeover, and refurbishment of leased store locations.
• Coordinate with construction, design, and operations teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
• Oversee handovers, layout planning, visual setup, and store readiness before openings or relaunches.
2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
• Actively participate in the recruitment and selection process for retail positions.
• Identify staffing needs together with Store Managers and HR, ensuring strong brand and cultural fit.
• Support retention and internal development initiatives.
3. External Stakeholder Communication
• Manage relationships with shopping mall management and landlords.
• Serve as primary contact for lease negotiations, operations coordination, and local promotions.
• Represent Lelosi in discussions related to shared marketing or mall events.
4. Team Leadership & Staff Development
• Lead, support, and develop Store Managers and store teams across both countries.
• Collaborate with HR in recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
• Ensure continuous training, motivation, and performance evaluation of retail staff.
• Conduct regular store visits and coaching sessions.
5. Visual Merchandising & Customer Experience
• Ensure all stores comply with Lelosi’s visual standards and brand guidelines.
• Monitor and improve customer experience across all locations.
• Act on customer feedback and implement service improvements.
6. Operational & Process Excellence
• Maintain optimal stock levels and coordinate with supply chain for efficient logistics.
• Supervise inventory control, stock accuracy, and loss prevention.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local labor and safety regulations.
7. Store Performance Management
• Oversee daily operations of Lelosi retail stores in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
• Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and foot traffic; ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Analyze KPIs and implement action plans to drive sales and improve operational efficiency.
8. Strategic Planning & Reporting
• Contribute to the development of local business strategies and sales campaigns.
• Provide regular performance reports, insights, and improvement proposals to senior management.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control measures.
9. Cross-functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and e-commerce teams to align omnichannel efforts.
• Act as the liaison between head office and retail operations in both markets.
• Support the rollout of new systems, tools, and operational procedures.
What skills and knowledge should you posses
• University degree in Business, Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations
• Proven experience in store openings, team leadership, and retail network expansion
• Strong knowledge of local labor and retail legislation (or ability to manage compliance through partners)
• Fluent in English and local languages
