Job Description:

The Head of Accounting – International is responsible for overseeing the full accounting agenda of the parent company, CTP N.V. This senior role ensures the integrity of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across international activities. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing audit and hedge accounting processes, and supporting tax filings and budgeting. The role also leads month-end and year-end closing activities, asset and rent accounting, and provides strategic financial insights. Additional duties involve supervising junior accounting staff, supporting financing and valuation processes, and contributing to the implementation of systems such as Dynamics 365. The position collaborates closely with consolidation, HR, ESG, and external property management teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data, reporting, and compliance.

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare supporting documentation and schedules for audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Manage hedge accounting processes and documentation, in accordance with accounting standards and guidelines.
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Conduct closing activities and verify financial data accuracy, while communicating effectively with the consolidation team for timely reporting.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide support for audits and tax filings.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Manage rent income processes, including rent indexation, and maintain accurate rent roll records.
• Assist in asset valuation processes and provide supporting documentation for valuation purposes.
• Support financing activities related to CTP and bonds, including rent roll analysis and business model evaluation.
• Participate in the setup and migration processes for new Dynamics 365 (D365) systems, ensuring smooth transition and data integrity.
• Manage accounting processes related to company assets, including depreciation, expenses, and Compliance.
• Monitor and analyze cash flow, providing insights and forecasts to support financial decision-making.
• Collaborate with the HR department on salary-related accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Assist in setting up energy modules and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) frameworks, including early access to relevant data for analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with external property management teams to facilitate year-end reconciliation, manage service fees, and ensure accurate accounting for asset related transactions and expenses
