DigitalExchange s.r.o. is a Czech-based fintech company incorporated under the laws of the Czech Republic (Registration number: 221 99 047). We operate as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP), registered with the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade for virtual asset services. We are under the oversight of the Financial Analytical Office (FAÚ) regarding AML/CFT obligations under the Czech AML Act, ensuring stringent standards in risk management, customer due diligence, and transaction monitoring. We are currently in the process of obtaining a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) license under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), which will allow us to offer regulated crypto-asset exchange and custodial wallet services across the EU and beyond.

Job Summary: DigitalExchange s.r.o. is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company through its next phase of growth and regulatory compliance. As CEO, you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational management, and financial performance of the company. You will play a crucial role in securing our MiCA license, expanding our regulated crypto-asset services across the EU, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including banks and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for DigitalExchange s.r.o., aligning with the company's mission to offer innovative digital finance solutions.
• Oversee all aspects of the company's operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
• Drive the successful acquisition of the Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) license under MiCA.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, regulatory bodies (such as ČNB, etc.), and other key financial institutions.
• Represent DigitalExchange s.r.o. as the primary external face of the company, communicating with stakeholders and the public.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to expand regulated crypto-asset exchange and custodial wallet services to individual and corporate clients across the EU and beyond.
• Ensure the company's adherence to stringent standards in risk management, customer due diligence, and transaction monitoring.
• Foster a culture of transparency, compliance, and innovation within the organization.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving profitability targets.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team, including key positions such as MLRO, CCO, Risk Manager, Internal Audit, and IT Specialist.

Qualifications:

• Residency: A resident of the Czech Republic, as this position involves frequent communication and thorough checks by banks and regulatory bodies.
• Experience: Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as a CEO or in a similar executive position within the financial services or fintech industry. Experience with virtual assets or crypto-assets is a significant advantage.
• Education: Strong financial sphere qualification.
• Skills:
• Exceptional leadership and strategic planning abilities.
• Deep understanding of the Czech and EU regulatory landscape for financial services, particularly concerning AML/CFT and MiCA.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities and financial institutions.
• Strong business acumen, with a track record of driving growth and profitability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Fluent in Czech and English (mandatory).
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and in a complex regulatory environment.
• A commitment to transparency, compliance, and ethical business practices.
• Compensation: Compensation for the CEO position will be highly competitive, reflecting the critical nature of the role and the candidate's experience and qualifications. This will include a base salary, potential bonuses, and other benefits, to be agreed upon beforehand.
