Active Directory Engineer [Advanced/Senior]

We are seeking an Active Directory Operations Engineer with experience in Active Directory (AD), Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), File Share, and Entra ID technologies.

In this role, you will work in our AD Operations team, managing critical infrastructure for large-scale international companies.

Experience with AD, PKI, and Entra ID is preferred, but a strong willingness to expand your knowledge and deliver high-quality operational / project support is most important.

About the Team

You’ll join a team of experts managing complex cybersecurity solutions for Aeven’s strategic segments. The AD operations/projects team consists of 15 professionals worldwide, with deep expertise in AD and Entra ID.

You will work closely with AD service architects. While most work occurs during standard business hours, occasional scheduled tasks outside normal hours, as well as on-site weekend duties (daytime), may be required in the future as part of on-call support.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate and guide the direction of Active Directory Services alongside other operations specialists and architects.
• Maintain and support ADDS, Azure AD, ADCS, ADFS, PKI, and HSM.
• Leverage your skills and knowledge to deliver stable, world-class operations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to address issues and improve operations.
• Optimize smaller projects and IT operations to enhance efficiency and performance.

Qualifications and Experience

You preferably have experience with some or all of the following:

• Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) and Azure AD
• Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS)
• Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Hardware Security Module (HSM)
• File Sharing and FTP
• Scripting (especially PowerShell)
• Other key qualifications:
• Fluent in English
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive audiences
• Strong technical writing skills, including the ability to produce clear and detailed documentation
