We cooperate with a long-term customer and partner, a multinational corporation operating in the healthcare sector, on products used to support the treatment of cardiac disorders and the prevention of heart failure.

We are looking for a colleague who is motivated by working in healthcare, where the results of their work have a real impact on people’s lives.

Job Description

As a Software Developer, you will be part of a team involved in project activities such as maintenance, enhancements, software/firmware updates, and bug fixing of products that are already successfully used in cardiology departments of hospitals as well as in patients’ homes worldwide (including the Czech Republic).

One category of these products enables physicians to correctly configure devices implanted in the patient’s body (pacemakers, defibrillators, or heart monitors). Another category enables reading and transmitting data from implanted devices, allowing physicians to remotely monitor patients and, if necessary, provide timely medical assistance.

What will you be responsible for?

• Analyzing requirements
• Defining final solutions and implementing them
• Performing code reviews of solutions implemented by other team members
• Analyzing and resolving issues in existing implementations
• Working with technical documentation and contributing to its creation

Development Environments & Tools

• MS Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Xcode, Android Studio, Eclipse
• Team Foundation Server (TFS), Azure DevOps, Git

Technologies Used

• C/C++, Objective-C, Java, Python, Perl, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular
• Development of functionality for proprietary devices running Windows, Android, and Linux
• Development of applications for mobile iOS and Android platforms

Requirements

• Experience with programming in C/C++ or Java and good ability to navigate and understand existing code
• Interest in mobile technologies; experience with a personal mini-project is considered a plus
• Knowledge of additional technologies, development environments, and tools listed above is an advantage
• English at a level sufficient for reading and, ideally, creating technical documentation and communicating with customers (emails, phone calls, online meetings)
