Your Tasks:

• Support European teams with financial and business matters.

• Check and approve budgets and forecasts for different branches.

Example: Review the annual budget for the foreign office and confirm it's realistic and aligned with company goals.

• Prepare financial reports every month, quarter, and year.

Example: Analyze quarterly financial closing and reports, which should be aligned with business expectations; finding out reasons of deviations.

• Coordinate with other departments like Business Unit Controlling and Project Controlling.

Example: Work with the project team to ensure costs are tracked properly for a new product launch.

• Improve tools and processes used for financial tracking and reporting.

Example: Suggest a new dashboard in Excel to better visualize monthly spending.

• Create presentations and lead meetings to review financial performance.

Example: Present a summary of Q2 results to senior management and lead the discussion on next steps.

Your Profile:

• Education in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar.

• 5+ years of experience in Controlling or consulting, ideally in a global industrial company.

• Good understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).

• Strong understanding of financial concepts like cost accounting, working capital, and cash flow.

For instance, you can explain how changes in inventory affect cash flow.

• Advanced Excel and good PowerPoint skills.

• Experience with SAP tools like BPC or SEM BCS is a plus.
• Proficient in English, German is a bonus.
• Independent and analytical mindset, confident in your decisions.

For example, you are able to spot a budgeting error and propose a correction without supervision.

• Strong communication and teamwork, and a love for numbers and tech.
