Introduction:

The Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure, leads the delivery and reliability of enterprise and manufacturing‑critical infrastructure services that support 24x7 semiconductor operations. This role oversees infrastructure domains including networks, compute, storage, cloud/hybrid platforms, and workplace services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, and IT leadership, the Senior Manager drives operational excellence, modernization, and cost‑effective service delivery to enable fab continuity, growth, and digital transformation.

The position is designed as an on-site role, requiring employees to be present in the Liberec office five days per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead IT infrastructure teams supporting data centers, networks, cloud/hybrid platforms, storage, compute, backup/recovery, and end user services.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and resiliency of infrastructure supporting manufacturing critical systems and enterprise applications.
• Develop and execute infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business priorities, fab requirements, and technology standards.
• Establish and enforce infrastructure governance, standards, lifecycle management, and change controls.
• Oversee capacity planning, performance monitoring, incident/problem management, and disaster recovery/business continuity readiness.
• Partner with Application, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Security teams to align infrastructure services with operational needs.
• Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, data center optimization, and automation.
• Manage vendor relationships, sourcing strategies, contracts, and service providers.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, costs, and operational health; implement corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Own infrastructure budgets, capital planning inputs, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop infrastructure managers and technical teams.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum Qualifications
• Progressive experience leading IT infrastructure teams in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure domains (networking, compute, storage, cloud/hybrid, workplace services).
• Demonstrated success supporting highly available, mission critical operations.
• Proven people leadership and ability to manage cross functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
• Experience with infrastructure governance, incident management, and service delivery metrics.
• Strong communication and operational leadership skills.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing or advanced/industrial manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with infrastructure requirements for fab aligned systems (e.g., MES, tool interfaces, engineering platforms).
• Demonstrated success leading infrastructure modernization or cloud transformation initiatives.
• Experience operating in 24x7, high reliability environments with stringent up-time requirements.
• Background managing global or multi site infrastructure teams.

Experience Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualification:

• Master’s degree (MBA, MS Information Systems, or equivalent).

• Professional certifications related to infrastructure, cloud platforms, or IT service management (as applicable).
  Formal training in IT service management, enterprise architecture, or operational excellence.

Work Experience:

• 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience in a complex enterprise environment, with several years of leadership and people management responsibility.
