QA Engineer for leading fintech company (full-remote)

Join a leading international company in payment card transactions, operating ATM networks, payment terminals, and other card acceptance solutions. You will work on an online payment gateway, helping the team migrate communication with its authorization host from an existing protocol to a new one.

As part of a Scrum team, you will analyze complex software systems and develop automated tests to support this transition. This is a 15-month project with a fully remote working model.

Main responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a Scrum team to deliver automated test solutions.
• Analyze complex software systems and design appropriate test automation.
• Review analytical documentation to verify that features are implemented correctly.
• Create test scenarios based on analytical outputs and user requirements.
• Contribute to improvements in testing processes.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical thinking.
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle, infrastructure, and testing techniques.
• Practical experience with at least one scripting or programming language, primarily Java, Groovy, or similar.
• Experience with REST APIs and web interface automation.
• Interest in keeping up to date with tools for test development, coverage, and reporting.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and collaborate within a team.

Nice to have:

• Experience in a similar role in the finance or IT sectors.
• Knowledge of test frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, or similar.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
• Experience with SmartBear ReadyAPI tools.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Knowledge of SQL databases.
