About the role

The HR Generalist provides end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle and offers expert guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, employee relations, and organizational practices. The role combines operational HR delivery (processes, administration, compliance) with advisory responsibilities (coaching, case management, and strategic people initiatives).

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a consultant and trusted partner to managers in all HR‑related topics. Provide guidance and help resolve people matters affecting individuals, teams, and leaders.
• Handle complex employee relations issues with professionalism and care.
• Take ownership of the foreigners’ agenda, ensuring compliance and managing administrative tasks with support from our external provider.
• Manage communication and administration related to maternity and parental leave.
• Ensure high‑quality onboarding, including a warm welcome for newcomers on their first day.
• Support managers in retaining high-performing employees.
• Promote employee engagement and drive follow-up actions based on engagement surveys.
• Conduct exit interviews and follow up on key themes and improvement opportunities.
• Serve as an internal trainer (Introduction to Labor Law for managers).

Skills & Experience

• University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or closely related field
• At least 3 years’ previous experience working in HR, preferably in HR Administration
• Knowledge of the Czech Labor Code
• General HR know-how: has know-how and experience in dealing with all types of HR issues relating to both individuals and teams.
• Fluent English and Czech/Slovak language
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Positive attitude and good time-management skills
