Úvodní představení

onsemi is building a new IT team to support and develop a data warehouse solution for its modern, US based factory (new acquisition). Existing solution is going to be migrated to OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), adapted to support existing onsemi systems and further improved and maintained.
The person in this role will be responsible for the design, implementation, optimization and support of enhancements and deficiency corrections, as well as the coordination of new releases. Responsibilities will also include activities to streamline and further standardize the architecture in the data warehouse space and provide technical consulting to projects with data warehouse related scope. A thorough understanding of Data Warehousing and Software Development Lifecycle concepts, strong communication skills and a process-oriented mindset are required in addition to very good technical and documentation skills.

Major responsibilities

Development and support of ETL data collection applications.
Analyze business requirements from end users and internal customers and recommend appropriate solutions.
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
Perform unit testing and assist in integration and end user testing.
Application maintenance and customer support.

Required skills

Full stack Java programming with knowledge of Java Spring framework.
Solid Understanding frond-end technologies like JavaScript, jQuery, JSP, HTML, CSS and RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of SQL and databases in general. Preferably relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
Good communication, organization, time management, and solution-oriented skills.
Familiar with programming and methodology standards, naming conventions and code libraries.
Languages: intermediate spoken and written English (B1/B2); highly proficient in spoken and written Czech.

Optional Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with software management systems like JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Maven, Git.
Experience with cloud based development and structure (i.e. AWS, Azure). Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of UNIX & Linux operating system and shell scripting.
Experience with AI technologies
