About the role

I am looking for a Plant Manager to lead manufacturing site (~350 employees, >5,4 mil EUR monthly revenue).

The site produces a diversified portfolio of electro-mechanical components (fuse holders, circuit breakers, connectors, power entry modules) in a high-mix assembly environment.

The site is currently experiencing strong growth, creating both opportunities and operational challenges. This role is critical to ensure scalable, reliable, and efficient execution as volumes increase.

Your mission

You will take full ownership of plant performance, with a strong focus on:

Scaling operations in line with strong business growth
Maintaining and improving delivery performance (OTD, backlog reduction)
Strengthening planning discipline and execution reliability
Ensuring material availability and efficient flow
Structuring inventory and stock strategy to support growth
Driving productivity and cost performance
This role requires a leader capable of structuring and scaling operations while maintaining execution discipline in a fast-growing environment.

Your responsibilities

Lead all plant operations (manufacturing, supply chain, quality, maintenance, engineering)
Own full performance across:
Safety
Quality
Delivery
Cost
Ensure operations scale effectively through:
Robust production planning
Strong execution discipline
Effective material flow and prioritization
Define and continuously optimize inventory strategy to support growth while controlling working capital
Drive operational excellence (Lean, flow optimization, lead time reduction)
Develop and strengthen the plant leadership team to support growth
Ensure strong collaboration with supply chain, engineering, and sales
 
Your profile

Proven Plant Manager or senior operations leader in manufacturing
Strong background in:
Assembly or electro-mechanical production is an advantage
Planning, scheduling, and MRP environments
Inventory and stock management
Demonstrated success in:
Scaling operations in a growing environment
Improving OTD and operational reliability
Managing material shortages and prioritization
Hands-on leadership style with strong shopfloor presence
Strong execution mindset and accountability for results
Very good comand in English (German is a plus)
