Financial Controller – Junior - Part-time (20 hours/week)

For EURO-CENTER Holding SE we are looking for a motivated and analytical junior Financial Controller to join our Finance team and support a range of activities across financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and process improvement.

This is a part-time position (approx. 20 hours/week), making it a great opportunity for a university student, recent graduate or junior finance professional looking to gain practical experience in financial controlling and reporting. We also welcome applications from parents searching for a flexible arrangement.

What will you do?

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and maintaining financial reports, dashboards and management reporting
• Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
• Comparing actual results with budgets, forecasts and previous periods and investigating variances
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collecting and consolidating financial data from different departments
• Monitoring operating costs and supporting profitability analysis
• Preparing ad hoc financial analyses and presentations
• Supporting financial controls, data accuracy and audit activities
• Contributing to process improvement, reporting automation and digitalisation projects

What are we looking for?

Your profile:

• Completed secondary education; university studies or a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field is an advantage
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and lookups)
• Good command of English
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. MS Dynamics, SAP, Oracle) or reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau) is a plus, but not required
