What will be your responsibilities?

• Prepare quarterly financial reports for banks, shareholders and management
• Work with financial data – check, analyse and interpret results and identify inconsistencies
• Analyse contracts and transactions and assess their correct presentation in financial reports and systems
• Support financial reporting and consolidation activities
• Cooperate with external auditors and provide requested financial data and supporting documentation
• Help identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve existing reporting processes
• Test new functionalities in consolidation software and help ensure that new solutions work correctly from both a business and accounting perspective

What do we expect from you?

• Understand the principles of double-entry bookkeeping and how common accounting transactions are reflected in financial statements, including areas such as inventories, loans and borrowings
• Previous relevant experience in accounting, controlling, reporting, financial analysis or a similar field is a big plus
• Strong analytical and logical thinking and an ability to interpret financial data
• IFRS knowledge is a huge advantage but not required
• Native Czech/Slovak and advanced level of English
