Maxcom S.A., a leading European manufacturer of mobile phones and consumer electronics, is strengthening its presence in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

We are looking for a commercially strong Country Sales Manager with proven experience and active business relationships in the Telco, Mobile, and Consumer Electronics sectors.

Role Profile & Commercial Mindset
- This role requires a hands-on business developer who enjoys customer visits, negotiations, relationship-building and winning business.
- The ideal candidate has strong experience in GSM, mobile phones, smartwatches or consumer electronics, and understands where and how these products should be sold.
- We are looking for a proactive, energetic and disciplined person who takes ownership, follows up consistently and is motivated by sales results.
 
Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Development & Customer Acquisition
- Actively develop Maxcom’s business in the Czech Republic and Slovakia by winning new customers across retail, GSM/mobile, B2B, B2C, e-commerce, distribution and consumer electronics channels.
- Use proven market experience and established industry relationships to reach buyers, category managers, distributors, retailers and other key decision-makers.
- Identify the right channels for Maxcom’s GSM, mobile phone, smartwatch and consumer electronics portfolio, and turn market potential into concrete sales opportunities.
- Build a clear sales pipeline with target accounts, visit plans and follow-ups.
2. Customer Visits & Sales Execution
- Arrange frequent face-to-face meetings with customers, prospects, retailers, distributors and business partners.
- Present Maxcom products, negotiate terms, build trust, secure listings and convert discussions into orders.
- Follow up consistently, challenge objections and drive the complete sales process.
- Negotiate with a clear focus on revenue growth, margin, portfolio presence and long-term cooperation.
3. Key Accounts, Distribution & Business Expansion
- Develop key customers and distribution partners through regular contact, active follow-up and measurable business growth.
- Increase Maxcom’s presence within existing accounts by expanding the product portfolio, improving sell-in, supporting promotions and identifying new opportunities.
- Work closely with distributors and channel partners while continuously searching for additional customers and sales channels.
- Monitor competitor activity, customer expectations and market trends, then translate these insights into practical sales actions.
4. Market Representation & Cooperation with HQ
- Represent Maxcom in customer meetings, negotiations, trade fairs and industry events with a strong commercial mindset.
- Cooperate closely with headquarters on strategy, forecasting, pricing, product portfolio, logistics, marketing support and sales execution.
 
Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development or key account management in Telco, Mobile, GSM, smartwatch or Consumer Electronics markets.
- Active business relationships and a strong network among buyers, retail chains, distributors, e-commerce players and CE/GSM channels in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
- Proven ability to win new customers, develop existing accounts and deliver measurable revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of channel management, pricing, negotiations and listing processes.
- Hands-on sales mindset with high independence, ownership, persistence and result orientation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable with frequent customer visits.
- Strong command of English; Czech and/or Slovak language skills are strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the Czech Republic, Slovakia and internationally.
